The Trade Promotion Organization of Iran has given the conditions of quarantining walnut and elm wood imported from USA to the Ministry of Industry, Mine & Trade.

Jamal Modaresi director of commercial regulations and standards office has announced that the mentioned woods have a medium risk quarantine conditions.

Accordingly, an import of these products from USA is legal and this has been declared to Iran’s custom.
