Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade said unfortunately exporters prefer to export stone in raw which I have ordered to strictly be acted with and prohibition be applied on export of raw stone.

Mohamad Reza Nematzadeh said some companies export raw stone due to the better profit but these companies should go towards exporting processed products.

He mentioned processing stones will have better profit for the country and will make a competition among the companies.

About foreign investment he added that foreign companies have been invited to participate in the exploration, development, design and construction of machines and equipment in Iran.
