{"id":79,"date":"2025-12-13T09:49:22","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T06:19:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asgarzade.sitedar.com\/yascont\/en\/?p=79"},"modified":"2025-12-23T16:50:52","modified_gmt":"2025-12-23T13:20:52","slug":"iran-air-elected-to-iata-board-of-governors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yascont.com\/en\/2025\/12\/13\/iran-air-elected-to-iata-board-of-governors\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran Air elected to IATA board of governors"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"item-body\">\n<p><span class=\"intro-text\">TEHRAN, Jun. 10 (MNA) \u2013 Iran Air managing director Farhad Parvaresh was elected as a member of board of governors of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for the first time after Islamic Revolution.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"full-text\">\n<p>The decision was made in the 73rd annual general meeting of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) which was held in Mexico on June 4-6, 2017. the Airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iran Air, was also present in the meeting as one of the Association\u2019s members.<\/p>\n<p>The election of Iran Air managing director farhad Parvaresh to the IATA board of governors will keep the country informed on the latest expert developments in aviation industry and provide the ground for a more active and credible presence of Iranian airline companies in international markets.<\/p>\n<p>IATA is a\u00a0trade association\u00a0of the world\u2019s airlines, consisting of 274 airlines, primarily major carriers, representing 117 countries, which account for carrying approximately 83% of total air traffic.
